Visual Interactions, Inc. was founded in May 2001 by the shareholders of TouchPoint Software, the successful leader in the delivery of Business Intelligence solutions to the ambulatory healthcare market. The Company was created by transferring to it the intellectual property rights for TouchPoint's proven Business Intelligence architecture and user interface. TouchPoint Software was then sold to WebMD by the current shareholders of Visual Interactions. By transferring the intellectual property rights to Visual Interactions from TouchPoint Software, the current Visual Interactions shareholders created the opportunity to-with an already proven BI and executive decision support solution-address the needs of all the other markets.
Building upon the eight years of engineering and customer-oriented product development experience of TouchPoint Software, the Visual Interactions solutions are the natural "next step" in the evolution of the TouchPoint products. The product architecture is currently being significantly enhanced by incorporating first-hand user feedback requirements and proven object-oriented software technology-the combination of which revolutionizes the solution-taking it to the next level. These enhancements will be accomplished without impacting the ease-of-use of its proven user interface.
